Hi, I’m Whitney…
Hi friend, welcome. Here’s what you should know right off the bat: I’m an introvert, that’s important to my story. I used to think my personality meant I needed to hide myself away from other people. But God had other plans. After many years of living in self-consciousness and fear of others, God called me out of the darkness of hiding and into the light of living seen. Everything I do is a testament to his goodness in my life. If you only knew…that’s what I always think. If you only knew how far he’s brought me, you’d give him glory with me!
God has used my gifts of writing and speaking in ways that continue to challenge and surprise me. I’ve learned that I want nothing more in life than to have a front row seat to watch what he’s going to do next. If you love a good conversation, diving deep into God’s word, being honest about the everyday struggles of life, and sneaking in a little dark chocolate after the kids go to bed, then I think we’ll get along just fine.
I am the author of Overlooked: Finding Your Worth When You Feel All Alone, which released in 2023. I’m also a Bible teacher, speaker, and podcast host. You can find my writing on my blog, or on other sights like (in)courage, Her View From Home, and Proverbs 31 Ministries. You can find samples of my speaking here. And most often, you’ll find me posting and interacting over on Instagram. I’d love to connect there too! You can find me here.
I have been married to my husband, Eli, for 17 years. Together we have three amazing children, Evangeline (12), Beatrice (10), and L.D. (7). I’m a southern girl from Georgia and have called our little town south of Atlanta home all my life!
