Hi, I’m Whitney…

I’m a shy introvert, I think we should go ahead and get that out of the way. I used to think my awkward personality was something to hide. But God had other plans. After many years of living in self-consciousness and fear of others, God called me out of the darkness of hiding and into the light of living seen. Now I am passionate about sharing the good news of the God Who Sees with other women who feel overlooked, forgotten, and unusable.

God has used my gifts of writing and speaking in ways that continue to challenge and surprise me. I’ve learned that I want nothing more in life than to have a front row seat to watch what he’s going to do next. If you love a good conversation, diving deep into God’s word, being honest about the everyday struggles of life, sneaking in a little dark chocolate after the kids go to bed, and walking around Home Goods when you have a couple of precious hours alone, then I think we’ll get along just fine.

In 2021, God allowed one of my childhood dreams to come true when I was offered a book contract by Leafwood Publishers for my first Christian living, non-fiction book. It’s called Overlooked, and I can’t wait to share it with you in the Spring of 2023. You can find my writing here, on my blog, or on other sights like (in)courage, Her View From Home, and The Joyful Life Magazine. You can find samples of my speaking here. And most often, you’ll find me posting and interacting over on Instagram. I’d love to connect there too! You can find me here.

I have been married to my husband, Eli, for 14 years. Together we have three wild, messy, beautiful children, Evangeline (9), Beatrice (7), and L.D. (4). We live just south of Atlanta.
